「おそらく世界は、これ以上新しい曲を必要としていないだろうけど、僕にはもっと曲が必要なんだ。曲を書くことで満足できるし、それは素晴らしいことだと思う。よりよい気分になるし、バンドとしてもいえると思うけど、１０分前に存在しなかったものを作り上げるって、気分がいいんだよ。宇宙にあるスピリットに近づける気がする。創造するという行為には、本当に力が宿っているし、とても喜ばしいことなんだ。みんながそれを経験できるように願っているよ。それまでそこになかった何かを創造することを、みんなが楽しんでくれることを願っている。」
